Dead Third Eye -Break Through-
Deviation Actions
Literature Text
We've shed so much
to grow anew
yet some things never change;
you're still you, through and through,
only adapting to age.
A growing body, a growing mind,
but inside, a constant self, a constant memory
Never knew before,
never quite understood why.
Such a dead third eye.
The memories never change.
Some fade, but the darkest stay.
Only an obstruction stands in the way.
Why cover a veil with a wall?
A second layer won't eliminate it all.
The physical body is shed naturally;
shedding the soulful self is voluntary.
Never knew before,
never quite understood why.
Such a dead third eye.
No walls are up to keep me down.
I'm breaking through, picking at the pieces,
shedding the self to shed some light.
It's been a long crawl out of the cave,
but I've finally escaped, with brand new sight.
A chase begins, a hunt pursues, new walls arise.
Break through! Break through!

In brief, this is about growing physically and *especially* about growing mentally/emotionally. It's also about relieving oneself from past suffering and "seeing the light" to a new way of life, or, a new outlook on life.
